Loss

A person can leave,
But their song cannot.
Their family may grieve,
Left with nothing but thought.

It seems all is gone,
When it finally strikes.
Yet there's still new dawn,
And new trails for hikes.

One must strive and know
The song isn't past.
Especially when they go, 
One shouldn't be downcast.

So listen to their sweet song,
And make sure to play along.
